The History
Located in a place rich in history, Villa Cosmera was originally built in the 15th century as a fortified house by the wealthy Genoese merchant Cosimo Pasero, who named it Cosmera. Over the centuries, the villa served as a summer residence for the noble Taffini family, and in the 18th century, it became a farmhouse owned by a family from Monasterolo di Savigliano. Today, it is home to a unique gastronomic project that blends Argentine and Piedmontese culinary traditions.
Who Are We?
We are an Italo-Argentine family with a shared passion for good food, tradition, and the culinary arts. Our mother, the daughter of a Piedmontese and a Tuscan, and our father, 100% Argentine and a master of the grill, created this project with the goal of offering a gastronomic experience that celebrates the best of both cultures. Alongside them, their children—Thomas (grill master), Gino (bartender), and Ambar (maître d')—work with dedication to provide our guests with a unique and unforgettable experience.

We collaborate with local farms and artisans to select the finest ingredients, offering unique and authentic dishes that reflect our passion for quality. Our wood-fired grill, built according to Argentine tradition, is operated by two expert Argentine grill masters who use slow cooking to enhance every nuance of flavor in premium meats. Our menu highlights Argentine meat, imported directly—including Red and Black Angus—alongside prized Piedmontese beef, delivering a tasting experience that delights every palate.
